After filling in my base with crusher run and power tamping (with a gas powered tamper), Should I compact the layer of sand that I’m lying on top of the crusher run with a gas powered tamper or a hand tamper? Which would be best? 2. When going around the edge of my synthetic putting green, should I landscape on the synthetic green only? Or should I place the landscape staples with one leg of the landscape staple on the synthetic putting green and the other leg of the landscape staple on the earth (natural ground) side?
